Puff pastries with onions

Aerogrill Rolsen RHO-713

TO BE CARRIED:

Puff pastry – 1 package 500 gr ,

A little flour to roll them in,

green onions – 1 bundle,

5 hard eggs and 1 beaten egg to grease the patties,

salt to taste.

PREPARATION . Stuffing made with green onions and eggs. But where to boil them in the office? The situation was saved by the system administrator: “Well, an air grill can do anything, can’t it?. So let her boil the eggs while you make the cake!”.

We took the glass dish, poured the water over it, put the eggs and put them on the low rack to prevent the boiling water from splashing on the heating element and fan, but according to the instructions it must not be more than 3 cm high in the Lasko aero grill.

Set the temperature to maximum 250° C to make the cooking process faster. Interestingly, there was never a rapid boil, and the eggs boiled perfectly in 10 minutes.

Readiness is judged by the cracked shell, which reveals protein that has “set”.

Chopped greens and eggs, salted, stirred – the stuffing is ready! Roll out the dough, cut it into 12 equal parts, stuff it, seal the edges and brush the patties with beaten egg.

TIP: keep in mind that the hot air blows evenly on all sides of the products, so you need to grease them with the egg on all sides. We only greased the top, as in cooking in the oven, so a beautiful golden crust got only one side, but a pity!

PREPARATION. The Lasko aero grill has a completely removable lid, which is very convenient.

We placed the patties on two levels – on lower and upper grids, closed the lid and set the temperature to 200 ° C and 15 minutes. But the appliance didn’t even think to turn on!

It turns out that the handle on the lid should be lowered to a click: it is it that pushes the start button.

We like this safety system very much. A click – and the air grill turned on: the bowl was beautifully lit, and we really saw how the streams of hot air fall to its bottom and, pushing away from it, go up.

I must say that, in spite of the even circulation of hot air, the patties were the first to be cooked on the upper griddle: the proximity to the heating element had an influence.

They were taken out after 8 minutes, and their lower “counterparts” were ready in another couple of minutes. That’s the speed: 12 crusty patties in 10 minutes!

TIP: I have to get used to my Lasko Aero – I need to know how to cook different foods. So for the first time it’s better not to rely on the timer, but to watch the cooking!
