Poweusaul, versatile Canon Macro MT 26EX RT for your studio masterpieces

Canon Europe, the world leader in imaging solutions, introduces the Macro Twin Lite MT-26EX-RT, a dedicated flash unit with versatile capabilities for professional photography. The MT-26EX-RT extends the rich functionality of its predecessor, the MT-24EX, and offers increased pulse power, flexibility, reliability and added convenience. It’s ideal for situations where space is limited – such as subject and food photography, close-ups of animals in natural habitats and dental photography.

High power

The MT-26EX-RT incorporates two sliding lamps that pivot in five degree increments around the lens. The lights can be moved up or down and tilted inward or outward depending on the scene and creative intent. As a result, it’s easy to accentuate details when taking close-up pictures of objects and faces.

The MT-26EX-RT also has a high brightness white LED focus lamp that makes it easy to focus and lets you judge your light composition before the shot is taken. The combined guide number the ability of the flash to illuminate an object at a given sensor sensitivity and angle of both lamps compared to the MT-24EX increased to 26 meters at ISO 100 and guarantees excellent results in macro photography.

Photo equipment

MT-26EX-RT comes with a new lens hood for each head: it softens the light and prevents glare. The flash can be reduced to maintain proper exposure with fast lenses or close-up photography.

The MT-26EX-RT also recharges quickly in 5.5 seconds or 2.5 seconds with the optional CP-E4N – so you can capture detail that’s so fleeting. So it’s perfect for capturing close-ups of wildlife when an interesting event can happen at any given moment. Reload process can be monitored with the recharge indicator on the LCD screen. Also, the increased lamp wear and tear has greatly reduced the need for regular flash service.

Flexible control and maximum creativity

The MT-26EX-RT has also added wireless master functions to control other Speedlite flashes wirelessly. Control up to 15 flashes in five groups: light the scene brighter or illuminate the background to separate the subject better. The MT-26EX-RTT can control exposure of remote Speedlite flashes in several ways.

With fully automatic control, exposure is metered by the camera over the radio using the E-TTL system. You can also manually set the output of each flash for the intended result. Each flash exposure can be controlled separately, e.g. manual and E-TTL can be combined for greater convenience and control.

The upgraded MT-26EX-RT interface and controls are based on the Speedlight 600EX II-RT, making the new model even easier to use. New control box incorporates many of the hot shoe features never before seen in the 600EX II-RT, including the ability to mount and unmount the camera on the sturdy metal mounting foot in one simple movement – using the locking lever.
