New Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ1000: 1′ MOS-sensor and, for the first time in the world, 4K video shooting support. Panasonic is introducing a new addition to its highly acclaimed LUMIX FZ lineup, the flagship digital camera DMC-FZ1000, which features a 1′ MOS sensor, 16× optical zoom, superior image quality and 4K resolution video recording.
The camera’s “eye” is the new LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT lens with 16× optical zoom, it provides the highest detail and resolution in image angles. And with the larger MOS sensor, it achieves a beautifully blurred bokeh image.
In addition, this 20.1 megapixel 1′ sensor features a vastly improved signal-to-noise ratio, which enables you to take clear photos with minimal noise, even at high ISO settings. The Venus Engine has also been redesigned to support Multi Process NR, Random Filter and Aperture Filter noise reduction technologies, resulting in improved image quality and more natural color reproduction.
And, of course, for the first time* the digital compact camera supports 4K video recording QFHD 4K: 3840×2160 25 fps in MP4 format . Thanks to this you can create photos in a whole new way – just take a still from 4K video and you’ll get a photo in 3840×2160 pixels equivalent to 8MP . The camera also supports Full HD video recording: 1920×1080 50p in AVCHD Progressive MPEG-4 H.264 or MP4.
Powerful 16× optical zoom with five-step zoom speed control for smooth zooming while filming. And the five-axis HYBRID O.I.S. Active mode effectively compensates for hand shake. Creative Movie, Full HD 100 fps, Time Lapse, and Stop Motion Animation create compelling movies.
The new DFD Depth From Defocus technology improves not only the precision but also the speed of the autofocus system approx. 0.09 sec , and a short shutter release delay and fast start-up time approx. 0,66 sec help not to miss the unique shot. In burst mode, the camera lets you shoot at up to 12 fps at 20.1 megapixels. You will also be able to use maximal. Shutter speeds of 1/4000 mechanical shutter and 1/16000 electronic shutter .
The DMC-FZ1000 has a high-precision 0.39′ OLED Live View viewfinder with 2359000 dots of resolution, it offers a fascination of approximately 1.88× 0.7× in 35mm camera equivalent and 100% coverage. 3′ wide, 921,000-dot resolution LCD screen swivels 180° in both directions, 270° up and down. The control convenience has been seriously upgraded: a new zoom lever, zoom ring, and mode switch allow more intuitive control of the camera.
If you want more creative freedom, you’ll appreciate Creative Control, Creative Panorama and Photo Style modes, and can now develop RAW files directly in camera.
The DMC-FZ1000 is equipped with Wi-FI and NFC, bringing new ways to capture and share photos and movies. The camera also features a 3.5mm jack for an external microphone such as the DMW-MS2 , which allows you to record the highest quality sound, and a hot shoe on which you can mount an external flash such as the DMW-FL580L – all of which opens up a wide range of shooting possibilities.
