The series features two A3+ color MFPs: the Epson WorkForce Enterprise WF-C20590 with print speeds up to 100 pages per minute and the Epson WorkForce Enterprise WF-C17590 with print speeds up to 75 pages per minute. It’s the ultimate low-power solution at the price of an A3 industry laser copier. Both MFPs are great for high volume office printing in both large corporations and small and medium-sized businesses.

Andrey Antonov, Product Manager, Epson Europe B.V “The inkjet linear printhead is not new to Epson, similar printheads have already proven themselves in Epson’s industrial wide format label printing machines. So we can say that Epson offers a new and proven solution. Epson WorkForce Enterprise devices use advanced developments: line print head with automatic condition check and clogged nozzle compensation prevent stripes when printing, and special electrostatic ribbon instead of rollers ensures maintaining high print quality at high speed. “We are pleased that Epson partners familiar with our inkjet business printers are already actively interested in WorkForce Enterprise Series devices.

Print head only 43 mm wide includes approximately 33,500 nozzles and supports variable drop size printing. This incredible level of detail not only improves the performance of the MFP, it also provides speed and reliability for companies with high print volumes.

Epson WorkForce Enterprise series devices are optionally equipped with a stapler and a document sorter with capacity up to 4 900 sheets. Optional 3,000-sheet paper tray. Total paper capacity increases to 5,350 sheets.

Also supports mobile printing from smart devices and scanning with NFC technology. Tools and programs Email Print for Enterprise, Epson Print Admin and Document Capture Pro add functionality to the series – it’s more than just printing and scanning.

When someone mentions that “linear is faster,” they are typically referring to the speed at which a linear system can operate compared to a rotational or angular system. In the context of a linear head versus a rotational head, the linear head often has a faster speed due to its direct and straightforward movement along a straight path. This can lead to quicker and more efficient operation, especially when precision and speed are important factors. In comparison, a rotational head may have to cover more distance or take longer to reach a specific point due to its circular movement. Therefore, in certain applications where speed is critical, a linear system may be preferred for its faster operation.
