New Ricoh color laser printers and MFPs for all business segments are in America already

Ricoh, one of the world’s leading providers of print technology and document solutions, announces the launch of a range of A4 color laser printers and MFPs: SP C260DNw, C261DNw, C262DNw and SP C260SFNw, C261SFNw, C262SFNw. New printers and MFPs are designed for small and home offices as well as for middle-size businesses and corporations. The main advantages of these models are compact design, excellent price-quality ratio, support of modern functions and connection methods as well as consumables compatibility with the previous Ricoh SP C250 line of printers and MFPs.

In the office color printers and MFPs are required to be compact, fast, easy to operate and most reliable. In addition, given the growing number of mobile gadgets, office devices need support for wireless connectivity of smartphones, tablets and other gadgets. Low total cost of ownership and high monthly productivity are also very important to the corporate segment.

The new Ricoh devices will look great in any office, home or executive office. Core MFP functions are controlled on a 4.3″ color touch panel and documents can be emailed direct from a smartphone using Wi-Fi or NFC. In addition, all drivers are installed automatically as soon as the devices are connected to the PC. Also, unlike competitors, the new devices have full front access, allowing the printer or MFP to be placed up against a wall or even in a niche.

All six devices support duplex and print up to 20 pages per minute in black and white or in color with a resolution of 2400 x 600 dpi. The SP C262DNw and SP C262SFNw can print 65,000 copies per month and are available with 4,500 or 6,000th print renewable cartridge to lower total cost of ownership.

Computers and peripherals

All MFPs support scanning to USB, email, network folder or FTP, as well as sending to mobile devices. The SP C261SFNw and SP C262SFNw have a single-pass duplex ADF for fast duplex scanning, which helps save time as well as reduce the risk of damaging the original.

Another useful feature of the new printers and MFPs is support not only for classic Ethernet and USB connectivity, but also for modern wireless Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and NFC . This allows files to be printed directly from mobile devices using Mopria, Google Cloud Print and Apple AirPrint.

Availability in America

All new SP C26X printers and MFPs went on sale in America in December 2017.
