Ricoh introduces new cost-effective SP 220/277 and SP 325/377 printers and MFPs to the American market

Ricoh, one of the world’s leading providers of print media and document solutions, announces the launch of two new A4 mono series – the SP 220/277 and SP 325/377. The new printers and MFPs are designed specifically for medium and small businesses and replace the Ricoh SP 210/SP 212 and SP 311. Compact size, productivity, reliability, and affordability are the key features, along with extensive functionalities and a wide range of connectivity options.

Ricoh’s new models have a compact form factor that makes them ideal for any workplace, since modern office environments are all about performance, ease of use and small footprint. Automatically installs drivers, so they’re ready to go right out of the box. All models have an intuitive interface that’s easy to use and understand for any employee, even those without an IT professional. MFPs streamline the most common features, copying documents with a single button and scanning documents that can be sent directly to a computer folder, email, or downloaded to a USB memory stick.

New items are high performers and can handle the widest range of small workgroup tasks. The Ricoh SP 220/SP 277 printers and MFPs print up to 23ppm and the SP 325/SP 377 print up to 28ppm and duplex, which means you can print double-sided at once and save time. The SP 220/SP 277 series has a maximum monthly print capacity of 20,000 and the SP 325/SP 377 series 35,000, 1.5 times more than the competition in this segment. So when printing on Ricoh devices, the available monthly volume of tasks is significantly higher.

All new printers and MFPs support both wired Ethernet and wireless connectivity Wi-Fi 802.0 and 802.0 .11 b/g/n that seamlessly connects to the office network and works with Apple AirPrint, Mopria, Google Cloud Print. Particularly convenient for workers and entrepreneurs who store documents on mobile devices. Using a special Ricoh Smart Device Print&Scan application for iOS and Android, users can send documents to print from smartphones and tablets, and receive scanned copies directly on their device. And with built-in NFC connectivity, you can connect to Ricoh printers and MFPs with just one touch.

Each of the technologies on display SP 220 and SP 325 includes a printer, multifunction printer, copier and scanner , multifunction devices with integrated fax as well as their variants with extra large tonnage cartridges as standard – the SP 277 and SP 377. In the SP 277 it’s a 2600 print cartridge and in the SP 377 it’s a 6400. Buying these printers and MFPs will reduce the cost of a print and save up to 35% on consumables over the life of the device.
