Xerox has launched its first A3 color laser printer, the Phaser 7100, in mid-November 2012 in the entry-level segment of color printers. The Phaser 7100 offers the same high quality color quality prints and ownership costs as the Phaser 7500 and Phaser 7800, Xerox color printers of the higher end A3 product line

High productivity is ensured by a powerful processor 667 MHz and a large amount of internal memory standard capacity of 1 GB, including options – 2 GB , as well as due to excellent speed characteristics. First page out time is 9 seconds in monochrome and 11 seconds in color, and the Xerox Phaser 7100 reaches a print speed of 30ppm./minute. Customer can increase initial 400-sheet tray capacity to 2050-sheet capacity for maximum user convenience.

Convenient operation of the printer is ensured by the possibility of monitoring job status and toner level via touch screen and PC monitor. Phaser 7100 supports Ethernet networking and can be connected to a wireless network using Wi-Fi. Print problems and malfunctions are also displayed directly in the user’s browser, which can be troubleshooted over the Internet from his or her desk.

With the Phaser 7100, companies can save not only time but also money on paperwork. For example, the printer has a color and black-and-white print accounting and analysis function that allows companies to monitor the print volumes of different departments and users. In addition to the standard 4,500 pages, Xerox offers high-capacity cartridges 9,000 pages of color toner and 10,000 pages of black toner for more economical printing costs. The printer uses a unique EA-toner as a consumable material consisting of the smallest chemically-grown particles of uniform shape and size. Its features and 1200×1200 dpi print resolution provide perfect image clarity. And the use of True Adobe PostScript 3 language ensures accurate color reproduction and realistic colors.
