The fast and responsive EOS 80D helps you capture stunningly detailed shots whether you’re shooting sports, wildlife or fast-paced action. A new sensor ensures the sharpest images and gives you the freedom to frame your shots, and a new 45-point cross-type focus system and 7fps shooting speed lets you capture the most fleeting moments with precision.
Wherever your subject is, you’ve got full control over your composition: either select an individual focus point for optimum sharpness or group points into zones to track your moving subject. Your photos won’t be blurry even if the lens doesn’t have a wide enough maximum aperture: 27 focus points remain active at f/8.
For shooting in a wide range of lighting conditions, it has an ISO 100-16,000 sensitivity range that extends to ISO 25,600, and autofocus keeps working even under pale moonlight -3EV . RGB+IR exposure metering 7,560 sensors detects visible light and infrared light simultaneously for more accurate exposures and flicker detection ensures accurate exposures when shooting under artificial light. Also, the new White Priority setting helps turn tones that are too warm to be true.
