ASSESSMENT OF QUALITY: the taste of your beverage depends only on the Nespresso capsule you have chosen. Nespresso coffee pods offer 16 different qualities of high quality Grand Cru coffee. Variety in terms of strength and flavor profiles. One sealed aluminum capsule contains a serving of ground coffee for 1 cup of drink. Each variety corresponds to a different color of capsule. All you need to make coffee is to choose it, put the capsule into the machine and press the button. Extraction process under pressure up to 19 bar to bring out flavor and aroma of coffee and get dense crema.
Convenient to prepare milk foam: This coffee machine doesn’t have a milk froth function, but is designed for espresso and lungo lovers.

EASY-TO-USE
FILLING THE WATER BASIN: the removable water basin can be removed vertically, has a carrying handle and is covered with a lid which can be easily removed. Everything is simple and convenient: no hassle.
LABEL MARKING MIN./MAX. LEVEL OF WATER IN TANK: none, you can fill water up to the top.
The markings on the control panel are clear and concise. The ON button is located on the side of the machine. Light indicator light comes on when it is activated and the appliance is ready for operation.
Adjusting the amount of coffee to be made: on the left there is a button with an espresso cup, on the right – with a lungo cup. You select the desired volume at the push of a button. After filling the cup the machine turns off automatically and the used capsule falls into the special compartment.
OPERATION MODE INDICATION: while the appliance is warming up, the backlight will flash all the buttons remain static, indicating that the machine is ready for use. Flashing backlight of the pressed button with a picture of a cup of the desired size signals the beginning of the brewing process.
MODEL FEATURES
This machine stands out in all the models we tested. The Nespresso is designed to brew high quality coffee using sealed capsules. The CitiZ collection is designed by Antoine Caen, designer of Les Ateliers du Nord. A coffee machine designed for modern urban interiors. Hence the austere lines and proportions, laconicism and maximum ease of use. Compact and easy to find space in the kitchen or office. A full-bodied, aromatic brew will be ready the first time. The special compartment for used capsules allows to keep your coffee clean. Espresso or Lungo cups, for which the special base is provided, can be used for serving coffee. Nothing superfluous in this model: the CitiZ makes just espresso or lungo.
It is interesting that we did not have time to use all of the coffee capsules we brought, and after the coffee machine was taken back, we tried to open them and brew coffee in another appliance. We did not have a tasty drink: made in a usual machine, the espresso was bitter and didn’t have any crema. We have once again seen how important it is to respect the technology: you can only prepare Nespresso coffee in a Nespresso machine.
