How the drip coffee maker works?
Only ground coffee is used. The heated water gradually trickles through the coffee filter, taking in the coffee aroma and then into the coffee jug on the stand. The top models offer additional functions that provide more possibilities for the user
For example, attractive design, innovative features and reliable technology describe the Melitta® Look® drip coffee machines. Since March 2015 the fourth generation has been available – Look® Therm, Look® Therm Selection, Look® Therm De Luxe and Look® Therm Timer. All models have the AromaSelector® function for adjusting the coffee strength to your personal taste. The user can adjust this setting with just one swipe, it’s convenient and doesn’t require changing the amount of water or coffee. With the “mild” setting, hot water flows from the oval outlet onto the outer edges of the ground coffee in the filter. The oval shape of the individual outlets matches the shape of the filter, and is a special patented feature of the Melitta. In this way, the coffee retains its full flavor and aroma, but contains much less acidity, resulting in a softer beverage taste. The “strong” setting allows to obtain a stronger coffee taste because the hot water goes from the central outlet on the ground coffee, penetrating it fully and rediscovering its aroma and flavor.
Thanks to the high-quality, unbreakable stainless steel Thermo Jug Look® Therm De Luxe and Look® Therm De Luxe Timer , the coffee stays hot and aromatic for a long time: no need to heat it up, wasting extra energy.
