Meike has released a new 50mm F1.7 for Sony E mount

Chinese lens and accessory maker Meike launches new fast lens for full-frame cameras with Sony E mount. The lens features a metallic lens barrel and chrome-plated metal mount, making it perfectly compatible with the camera mount.

Photo equipment

Optical lens design consists of 6 elements in 5 groups. Each element is coated with a multi-layer antireflective coating, effectively suppressing glare. The lens has a 12-blade aperture that can be adjusted using the adjustment ring from f/1.7 to f/22. Focus is also set manually, with a minimum focus distance of 0.5 m. To facilitate manual adjustment of the lens body, under the adjustment rings marked numerical values. The lens supports the installation of filters with a diameter of 52 mm, has a compact size 61×54 mm and weighs 310 gr.
