Yongnuo has announced a version of the YN 50mm f 1 lens.4NE II for Nikon F mount. Previously issued for Canon EF mount. The lens features both manual and auto focus with a distance indicator and Lv mode support, as well as an electromagnetic aperture control mechanism.
Optical circuitry consists of 9 elements in 7 groups, including 4 elements with ultra-high refractive index. All elements are made of high quality optical glass with multi-layer coating, which improves light transmission of the optical system, effectively suppressing glare. The lens has a 7-bladed aperture, which is adjustable from f/1.4 to f/22.
Focus distance is a minimum of 0.45m and a maximum magnification of 0.15x. The lens supports filters up to 58 mm in diameter, has compact dimensions of f81x93 mm and weighs 577 g. Precision chrome-plated metal mount is perfectly compatible with the camera mount, and gold-plated contacts improve signal conduction. The lens also supports firmware updates from the camera, without using the USB port.
