Looking for the best American photographers at the largest international photography contest Sony World Photography Awards
The international competition Sony World Photography Awards 2016, the largest and one of the most respected photographic competitions in the world, organized by the World Photography Organization WPO , begins the search for the best photographer in America in the category America National Award 2016. National competition for American participants SWPA is held this year for the first time.
● America National Award is held as part of the Sony World Photography Awards for the first time this year

The winner will be rewarded with Sony photography equipment, and their work will be part of the Sony World Photography Awards 2016 in London

2015 Sony World Photography Awards
You can participate in the photo contest for free by submitting your best photos on the worldphoto website.org. America National Award nomination is open for American photographers of any level, photos can be taken with any camera. Applicants are eligible to apply for any one of the ten following categories in the SWPA Open Rankings:
● Architecture
Art and culture
● Enhanced Photography
● Low-light shooting
● Nature and animals
● Panorama
People
● Smile
Fraction of a second
● Travel
From these categories, the judges will select photos taken by American photographers and give a well-deserved award to the best photo, as well as determine two more second and third place images.
The winner of the America National Award nomination will be announced on March 15, 2016 and will receive as an award:
– The most up-to-date Sony photo equipment
– The winner will be named American Photographer of the Year at the Sony World Photography Awards 2016
– The winning image will be published in the annual edition of the Sony World Photography Awards Winner’s Book.
– The winner will be offered a Premium membership on the WPO website
In addition, the best photo and second and third place entries will be:
– shown alongside the work of professional photographers from around the world at the 2016 Sony World Photography Awards, which will take place in London from April 22 to May 8, 2016.
