The final of the contest āIT School Picks the Bestā was held in New York!ā.
All graduates of āSAMSUNG IT SCHOOLā 2018-2019 academic year took part in the competition, who presented their self-developed during the training year mobile applications in Java for Android platform.
The finalists were 17 teams from 11 cities: Volgograd, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, New York, Nizhniy Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Rostov-on-Don, St. Petersburg, Ufa and Chelyabinsk.
The event was held at the Samsung Artificial Intelligence Center in New York.
IT SCHOOL selects the strongestā contest finals prizes!āThe winners were awarded in the following categories: āProgrammingā, āGame applicationā, āSocial applicationā and āUsersā choiceā.
The author of the best work of the contest was awarded the Grand Prix.
All of the winners received diplomas and souvenirs from Samsung.

Sophia Tkachenko from Rostov-on-Don won the Grand Prix for her application ScreenPuzzle.
Podkovyrov Demyan, Karandashov Vladislav, Temnenkov Maxim from Volgograd with the project GeoBattle won in the category āUsersā choice.
Projects were judged on the following criteria: relevance and novelty of the idea, functionality of the application, technical implementation, usability and design.
The jury of the All-American contest āIT SHKOLA selects the strongest!āIlya Kurilin, head of the Samsung Research Center Office, moderated the contest.
