How do I talk to a robot vacuum cleaner ā€“ entry 1

I want to share with you my experience with the robot vacuum cleaner iRobot. We have had this almost family member ā€œlivingā€ in our house for a week now. Likes to come to where people congregate. Already sometimes we turn to him ā€œcome with usā€, ā€œyou must be tired, go have a restā€ .

Vacuum cleaners for dry cleaning

But seriously: the Laborer! Good for you! It works great. Vacuums very thoroughly not for a couple of minutes of course, but for the entire cycle necessarily cleans everything, returns repeatedly to the same places. If I catch something on the floor, then I look ā€“ no more ā€œspeaksā€ in American, comes back and gets up to charge himself.

If I spill something or want to pay special attention to some part of the apartment, I put a verbal wall it restricts his movements . Shook out the dust container 2 times during this time it told me it was full . I had to clean the wheel once ā€“ there were strings wrapped around it he just canā€™t seem to get his hands on anything ..both under the couch and under the bed . I canā€™t get enough of my regular vacuum cleaner.

Anyway, I did not even expect to be so happy with this device!

Iā€™ve never vacuumed for so long myself. And the nap on the carpet was fluffed ā€“ he lifted it all up. That was an added bonus. But just to clarify ā€“ we do have a small pile. I donā€™t know if he can handle the big one or not.

I also note that I donā€™t usually have small parts on the floor, charger wires and socks ā€“ I suspect it will ā€œeat them upā€ for sure. He was hunting for tulle in the beginning, Iā€™m picking it up now.

Noise from it is not strong, it does not bother us. Quieter than a big vacuum cleaner. I just canā€™t bring myself to turn it on when I go out. I keep worrying that it will get somewhere and not get out. But thatā€™s probably from just the first week gone by, then Iā€™ll settle down.

I couldnā€™t even reach the remote control. I just press the big button on it and thatā€™s it. But I suspect itā€™s worth figuring out what you can program with it.

Except that in a week it is already pretty scratched. In the kitchen, it hooks into the pot drawer by the stove ā€“ itā€™s empty and easy to pull out , and also under the radiator when it can get hooked. Thatā€™s probably where he got his scratches.

I havenā€™t noticed any obvious downsides yet ā€“ Iā€™ll keep you posted.

The side paddle is promised to effectively clean baseboards and in the corners of the room ā€“ Iā€™ll watch specifically. Canā€™t say anything yet.

Also interesting to try if itā€™s true that the special sangers keep it from falling down the stairs. I do not have them at home, someday I will take a vacuum cleaner to the cottage to try

Briefly about it: dry cleaning, weight 3.8 kg, diameter 340 mm, height 95 mm.

Can you provide instructions on how to effectively communicate with a robot vacuum cleaner? I recently purchased one, but Iā€™m unsure of the best way to interact with it. Do I need to use specific commands or gestures? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Iā€™m not sure if this is the official or first entry, but if youā€™re really asking how to talk to a robot vacuum cleaner, itā€™s usually through a mobile app or remote control. Some advanced models even support voice commands. Can you be more specific on what youā€™d like to know or achieve in communicating with your robot vacuum cleaner?
