Simply place documents in the scanner, press a button and the information is instantly transferred to Android and iOS tablets and smartphones – either directly via Wi-Fi, or via PC or Mac.

A new approach called “Scan-to-Everywhere”: ScanSnap Manager software allows you to integrate third party applications into a Quick Menu and select the “destination” of your document with a single click or touch of the touch screen.

Automatically optimizes images for increased user efficiency as scanned documents are processed and enhanced directly in the scanner, so you get high quality images without having to process them on your tablet or smartphone. They can also connect their smartphones or tablets to the ScanSnap iX500 via the Wi-Fi interface built into the scanner. Images from paper documents can be transferred directly to Android or iOS mobile devices in PDF or JPG format.

This Fujitsu ScanSnap iX500 sounds impressive! Can it handle a large volume of documents? I often deal with multiple paperwork in my office and need a scanner that can keep up with my scanning needs. Also, can it scan both sides of the paper simultaneously? It would be great if the device has that capability.
