Fujifilm X-T2 autofocus fast. It’s so fast that even Sony manager Kimio Maki, confirmed in an interview that this camera is a threat to the A7 series.
Sony currently does not have such technology, although with the release of the A9 all that has changed, still new autofocus is still only available to owners of the advanced mirrorless.
New rumors report that the Fujifilm X-E3 will have improved tracking autofocus. It won’t be an improvement over the previous model, but with all of Fuji’s cameras. It means that the autofocus of the new X-E3 will outperform even the flagship X-T2.
This is great news! I’ve been considering buying the Fujifilm X-E3 and improved tracking autofocus would be a major bonus. Can anyone provide more information on the specific improvements made and how they compare to other cameras in its range?
Is the improved tracking autofocus on the Fujifilm X-E3 significant enough to make a noticeable difference in capturing moving subjects with greater accuracy?
Does anyone here have experience with the Fujifilm X-E3 and its tracking autofocus? I’ve heard that it’s been improved, but I would love to hear some firsthand opinions before making a purchase. How well does it track moving subjects, particularly in challenging situations? Any information or insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
