FUJIFILM Corporation launches FUJIFILM XF10, a new premium compact digital camera equipped with a high quality 18.5mm fixed focal length lens with F2.8 aperture. Equipped with an APS-C sized sensor that is 14 times larger than those used in standard smartphones. The FUJIFILM XF10 has all the hallmarks of the X series ā easy manual operation, superb image quality and versatile features.
The 24.2 megapixel APS-C sensor in combination with FUJIFILMās proprietary color technology provides outstanding image quality in all conditions. The extreme clarity and high resolution of the images meet the expectations of even the most demanding photographers. With its advanced Bluetooth capabilities, the XF10 lets you quickly transfer photos from camera to smartphone after shooting, and its new āSQUARE MODEā mode lets you easily switch to the popular 1:1 social media format with a touch of a button on the screen.
Despite its compact size and low weight of just 280g, the XF10ās high-quality components and new functionality make it the perfect companion for smartphone users and amateur photographers alike. The FUJINON 18.5mm, F2.8 lens, the equivalent of 28mm in 35mm format, delivers the sharpest images possible across the entire frame. In addition, thanks to the digital teleconverter function, the camera can also shoot photos at 35mm and 50mm focal lengths Eq. 35mm . The optical design has been specifically designed to match the XF10ās sensor perfectly, ensuring uncompromising image quality despite the cameraās compact size.
The XF10 offers eleven Fujifilm-developed film simulation modes and nineteen advanced filter modes, two of which, Rich & Fine and Monochrome [NIR], are new developments. With these modes, photographers can add more art to their photos or imitate the color tones of film. Rich & Fineā filter assures more vibrant and sharp colors in the center of the image, creating a slight darkening around the edges to bring out the main subject. Monochrome [NIR] mode for monochrome effect as if infrared light was used. XF10 can also shoot 30-minute movies in 4K or Full HD.

The FUJIFILM XF10 will go on sale in August 2018 at an estimated price of $500. The camera will be available in two colors: Black and Champagne Gold
