FUJIFILM launches X20 premium compact camera. The model is the successor to the highly acclaimed X10, inheriting its unrivaled style and exquisite design. Enhanced Optical Viewfinder for real-time shooting
Despite its compact size, FUJIFILM X20 has a bright optical viewfinder with a 20 degree field of view and 85% viewfinder coverage that is synchronized with the zoom lens. The X20’s viewfinder has a semi-transparent Digital Trans panel, only 1mm thick, between the lid prisms.
Introduction of a new technology to display shutter speed, aperture, ISO speed, focus and other information in the viewfinder, allowing you to concentrate on taking pictures without taking your eyes off the viewfinder. The Digital Trans panel automatically changes color depending on the scene and shooting conditions.
Superb image quality even at the edges
Latest 2/3-inch X-Trans CMOS II sensor features an irregular pixel pattern. The advantage of this system is that it eliminates the need for the optical low-pass filter traditionally used to reduce false colors and moire, which are not good for image resolution.
Equipped with Lens Modulation Optimizer to reduce unwanted optical effects such as diffraction, which occurs when light passes through the lens. Even at settings up to F8, images are sharp and textured in every detail, a testament to the high performance of the lens.
The new sensor’s high sensitivity combined with the new generation processor reduces noise by more than 30% compared to X10. Even when shooting in low-light conditions such as indoors or at night at high ISO settings, the X20 guarantees high image quality.
Fastest auto focus
X20 uses phase detection sensors to achieve rapid auto focus in as fast as 0.06* seconds. The intelligent hybrid autofocus system easily switches between contrast and phase focusing depending on the subject or scene, ensuring fast, accurate autofocus.
EXR Processor II provides double the processing speed of previous generations. Impressive startup time of just 0.5 seconds and shooting interval of 0.5 seconds. The X20 is also capable of continuous shooting at up to 6 frames per second.
Fujinon F2.0-2.8 fast lens with 4x optical zoom
Lens delivers superb F2 brightness.0-2.8 and 4x optical zoom, guaranteeing high optical resolution throughout the range from 28 mm to 112 mm Eq. 35mm .
Every element of its design – from aspherical and non-scattering lenses to high refractive index lenses – is made of glass with superior optical properties and laminated with HT-EBC High Transmittance Electron Beam Coating to protect against stray images and glare.

FUJIFILM X20 retains the traditional simulation of film simulation modes. Ten types of film simulation to choose from: FUJIFILM Velvia PROVIA ASTIA, professional negative film PRO Neg. STD PRO Neg. Hi , monochrome mode with color filters, and sepia mode.

Pop color is a great way to enhance contrast and saturation in color.

X20 is the ultimate in high-resolution video capabilities. High-speed data transfer during video recording results in less noise and improved image quality, as evidenced by every detail, whether it’s a single leaf on a tree or the subtlest facial expressions.
Many advanced modes are available during video recording. Film simulation mode for movies, white balance or wide aperture for beautiful bokeh effects and Smart AF for fast, accurate focusing.
Elegant design and state-of-the-art technology
The top and bottom of the body are made of durable but lightweight magnesium alloy, which gives the camera an air of solidity. Artificial leather finish evokes the feeling of a quality product and guarantees durability and, compared to natural leather, the artificial substitute is more practical and protects against negative environmental factors. Control wheels are precision-milled from solid metal.
The menu system has also been redesigned. The Q button gives access to the most frequently used settings. Fn button lets you assign the most frequently used functions during shooting.
