The first images of Olympus E-PL9, which is expected to be announced in February, have leaked.
The images presented show that the E-PL9 will get a built-in flash, which the E-PL8 lacks, as well as a more solid grip to hold the camera securely in your hand. Otherwise, the design of the camera will remain unchanged and will be identical to the E-PL8.
The camera is said to have a 16-megapixel Micro 4/3 sensor, 121-point autofocus and 5-axis IS. The camera will also receive a 3-inch touch screen and the ability to shoot 4K/30fps video. Continuous shooting speed remains the same as the E-PL8
The Olympus E-PL9 seems like a highly promising camera! Can anyone share their experience with this model? How does it compare to its predecessor, the E-PL8? I’m particularly interested in its image quality, autofocus performance, and any noteworthy improvements. Any insights or suggestions before I make a purchase decision? Thanks in advance!
