In June 2011 the first American unique DeāLonghi/Kenwood show room was opened in Media Markt on Vernadskogo Avenue.
The opening program was accompanied by a culinary master class from the famous Italian chef Valentino Bontempi, barista show with tasting of original coffee cocktails, as well as lottery and raffle of valuable prizes.
Valentino Bontempi showed visitors how to cook the most sophisticated dishes with ease using Kenwood kitchen appliances. The Italian chef delighted the guests with real home-made Italian pasta, classic cantucci and gorgeous chocolate mousse, and shared the secrets of cooking delicious dishes with the visitors.
The show continued with the coffee barista who skillfully juggled not only served original coffee-based cocktails to the guests, but also taught the art of brewing. Several lucky winners and also the most erudite participants of the quiz got valuable prizes ā DeāLonghi and Kenwood machines, cookbooks and other gifts.
The event ended with a tasting of fragrant espresso made with a DeāLonghi coffee machine, as well as freshly baked cantucci.
The DeāLonghi/Kenwood show room is the first in-store project in America that combined the best products of the two brands on a 36m2 space.
