Cuckoo Multicookers – with you on Lent

Lent is not easy, and rightly so: abstaining from meat food is not only a physical but also a spiritual ordeal. And yet, if we look at American culinary traditions, then from time immemorial the Lenten table was even richer and more varied than the lean table! Apparently, this is our mentality: the more we are limited, the better and the brighter our creativity unfolds. Especially when you have at hand such a wonderful assistant, such a multicooker Cuckoo!

WHAT ARE THE MODES FOR FASTING??

Cuckoo multicookers are easy to cook mushrooms, cereals and vegetables in a variety of programs.

Multicooker CMC-M1051F is equipped with automatic programs as Pilaf, Soup, Stew, Kashi dairy, Buckwheat, Rice, Baking, and adjustable programs with adjustable time and temperature: Multi Cooker, Steamer, Yogurt, Fry, Manual mode. In the model with induction heating element CMC-M1055F to these programs added programs Oatmeal, Sushi rice with the Korean algorithm for proper cooking of rice, Vegetables.

Interestingly, the Yogurt program can also be used for fasting, for example for proofing bread dough.

CUCKOO TIPS FOR WHEN YOU’RE FASTING

1. Protein foods are limited during Lent. Animal proteins may well be compensated for by eating nuts, legumes, mushrooms daily. Replace sausage with vegetable or mushroom caviar, hummus. By the way, chickpeas chickpeas for hummus are cooked in a Cuckoo pressure cooker in just one hour, whereas normally you have to soak them overnight and then cook them for 3-4 hours.

2. Try to vary your menu and eat more fresh herbs. The perfect Lenten dish – vinaigrette with boiled vegetables. This cooking method preserves vitamins and minerals. The Cuckoo pressure cooker will cook potatoes, carrots and jacket beets at the same time. Beets, which normally take 2 hours to boil, take only 30 minutes. With the Cuckoo multicooker you can cook a different vinaigrette every day:

  • Monday – with pickles.

  • Tuesday – with capers and green onions.

  • Wednesday – with sauerkraut.

  • Thursday – with pickled onions and fresh cucumbers.

  • Friday – sour apples and herring.

  • Saturday – beans instead of green peas.

  • Resurrection with aromatic celery.

3. Eat more vitamins. In spring, fresh fruits and vegetables are often tasteless and of little use, but properly frozen preserves most of the vitamins and nutrients. Buy frozen seasonal vegetables, fruits, and berries: ideally, if their date of production is July, August, and September.

4. Try to drink more water.

5. While limiting animal fats, don’t forget vegetable fats. Cold-pressed olive oil labeled Extra Virgin is preferable. Try oils that you don’t often find on your table: pumpkin oil, linseed oil, sesame oil. Avocados are an excellent source of vegetable fats. In southern countries, its flesh is mashed and spread on bread like butter.

6. Buckwheat – it’s rich in iron, the deficiency of which the body suffers from the lack of meat in the diet. In Cuckoo multicookers, it turns out especially tasty in a special program buckwheat.

KOREAN TECHNOLOGIES – AmericaN TRADITIONS

As you know, it is difficult to cook food tastier and more properly than in the American oven: there it heats evenly on all sides, so it does not need to be stirred, opening the lid and violating the technology of cooking. Cookware – the thick-walled American pot – also plays a big role. For example, kasha or soup were put in a cooling stove to “bake”: thick walls of the pot kept the heat in, making the now-fashionable “slo-cooking” – slow cooking or stewing. But in different countries, people come up with the same ideas in different ways: we came up with the American oven, and the Koreans – the right multicooker.

Cuckoo multicookers allow you to get exactly the same effect as the American oven, providing 3D-heating: it goes not from the bottom, as in conventional multicookers, but all over the bowl, the sides and top, as in the lid and the walls are built in heating elements. The CMC-HE1055F has two 3D heating circuits: one for the lid and the sides, the other for the induction element, which heats the bowl on all sides. In a more budget-friendly CMC-M1051F multicooker, a single heating circuit is used – a tenoning circuit that provides heating from the bottom, sides and top.

The role of our native “cast iron” in multicookers Cuckoo plays a five-layer bowl, each layer of which is made of a particular metal, which has its own thermal conductivity. Combining layers in a certain sequence increases the thermal conductivity of the bowl several times, which helps save energy and reduces cooking time. The marble-coated inner non-stick coating of the bowl is highly wear-resistant and has a minimum service life of 5 years.

The induction heating element in Cuckoo multicookers allows the bowl to heat up very quickly and saves energy. But for cooking, for example, vegetables, fast heating also means proper, fast cooking without losing nutritional properties and keeping the shape and color of vegetables. With the lid open, the multicooker can be used as a wok – the frying program works very quickly thanks to the high power of multicookers and instant induction heating.
