Bosch is extending its range of cordless screwdrivers in the 10.8 V class with the GSR 10.8 V-EC TE Professional cordless drywall screwdriver for multi-functional drywall applications. With a length of only 207 mm, this lightweight and compact screwdriver is especially convenient, even in difficult-to-reach places and when the tool is held above your head.
The key features of the new product are
the screwdriver has a high average performance: with one 2.5 Ah battery charge, it can drive more than 1,200 screws with a diameter of 3.5 mm and a length of 35 mm into a drywall panel – the maximum output in its class. It operates at a speed of 3000 rpm and can easily drive screws with a diameter of up to 4 mm.
The GSR 10.8 V-EC TE Professional is therefore suitable, for example, for installing gypsum boards with a thickness of 12.5 mm on wooden and metal profiles. It helps interior decorators, painters, plasterers, fitters, carpenters and electricians to accomplish production tasks quickly.
The GSR 10.8 V-EC TE Professional is also equipped with an integrated LED spotlight, a handle with soft grip, a charging level indicator and accessories such as the store attachment MA 55 Professional for strips with Bosch screws. The adjustable depth stop, even at maximum speed, ensures the required accuracy of the screwdriving depth.
EC motor and electronic motor protection system EMP
With the brushless EC motor, the GSR 10.8 V-EC TE Professional has a long working life with just one battery charge. It also achieves a compact and lightweight design. And, unlike conventional DC motors with carbon brushes, this motor is maintenance-free.
And the integrated motor brake and the electronic motor protection system EMP on the GSR 10,8 V-EC TE Professional ensure reliable protection against overload. Together with the brushless EC motor, these options increase the life of the new screwdriver to more than twice that of a tool with a conventional motor.

The GSR 10.8 V-EC TE Professional 10.8 V 2.5 Ah battery pack is, thanks to the Bosch Flexible Power System, ideal for use with all cordless tools and chargers in this voltage class. The 10.8V tool program currently includes 27 tools as well as 1.5Ah, 2.0Ah, 2.5Ah and 4.0Ah batteries.
