The Bosch FlexiClick are professional, high-performance cordless drill/drivers that can handle virtually any application thanks to the four included accessories. The FlexiClick system consists of a GSR 14,4 V-EC FC2 Professional or GSR 18 V-EC FC2 Professional cordless drill/driver as well as a drill chuck, an eccentric drill bit and an angle bit. Bosch is also one of the first manufacturers to complete a set with a core drill bit.

That makes the FlexiClick the most universal cordless drill/driver system on the market today. its range of applications – from simple screwdriving to drilling in wood, metal and even concrete, and all that in combination with the compact size of the tool and the corresponding attachment. These new system features enable craftsmen and craftsmen professionals to use the tools flexibly and precisely, even in difficult to reach places.

It makes light work for kitchen fitters, furniture makers and interior decorators, who often have to drive and unscrew screws close to the edges of cabinets and walls, drill holes in tight recesses. Among other things, the unique system developed by Bosch makes it possible to change the position of the bits without having to remove them from the tool for the duration of the adjustment.

The FlexiClick 5-in-1 system overview

1. The cordless drill/drivers GSR 14,4 V-EC FC2 Professional and GSR 18 V-EC FC2 Professional have a hexagonal chuck that can be used to hold standard bits. The only screwdrivers in their class with a bit clamp and a universal bit holder that is color-coded to indicate the correct position of the bit to attach it to the tool.

2. The GFA FC2 Professional drill chuck with Auto-Lock function can hold drills up to 13 mm in diameter and is able to drill precisely in tight spaces: the length of a cordless drill including the bit is only 205 mm.

3. The GEA FC2 Professional eccentric bit allows screws to be driven in and out very precisely right up to the edge. Minimum edge distance of just 11 mm. The screwdriver allows up to 16 working positions without having to remove the FlexiClick head from the drill.

4. With the GWA FC2 Professional angle bit, craftsmen can conveniently and accurately drive screws even in tight spaces. The extensions have an angled twist and are only 95 mm long, which makes them very compact. In addition, the angled head can be quickly and easily locked into 16 different positions.

5. The GHA FC2 Professional turns a cordless drill bit into a powerful SDS-plus hammer drill with a single blow energy of 1 Joule. The necessary percussion unit is integrated in the core drill bit. The GSR 14,4 V-EC FC2 Professional and the GSR 18 V-EC FC2 Professional can therefore drill with ease, even in concrete, unlike conventional impact drills. Maximum diameter of the hole is approx. 10 mm. Also these tools are significantly more compact than conventional rotary hammers with a chuck length of only 270 mm.

A solid connection in two steps

Turn, click – done. The 4 FlexiClick bits are connected to a cordless drill driver in the same way as a regular drill chuck: Just insert the bit into the FlexiClick and turn it clockwise. The two components click securely into place and are ready for use.

With the FlexiClick system Bosch supplements its standard professional series with an extremely compact line of long-duration tools for one battery charge. Other features of these practical and high-performance tools are the high rotation speed for high performance and the short battery charging time, which is tailored precisely to the needs of users.

The GSR 14.4 V-EC FC2 Professional and GSR 18 V-EC FC2 Professional cordless drills with FlexiClick are available from May 2015. in the next set:

  • with a drill chuck, two 4.0 Ah lithium-ion batteries, and a quick charger are €339 and €389

  • 429 and 479 euros with drill chuck and rotary drilling bit including handle

  • With 4 attachments drill chuck, rotary nozzle, angle nozzle and eccentric nozzle and two 4.0 Ah lithium-ion batteries and quick charger -529 and 579 €.

    The FlexiClick brush heads are also available separately: the drill bit, the angled brush head and the eccentric brush head for 59 euros each, the rotary brush head for 99 euros each.
