Highly Sensitive Motion and Image Sensors

The ASUS Xtion 2 3D sensor delivers accurate, high-quality depth imaging at 640×480 pixels 30 frames per second from 0.8m to 3.5m. ASUS Xtion 2 provides a 5Mpixel sensor 2592×1944 pixels for better image quality.

The improved performance of the new ASUS Xtion 2, compared to the previous generation version, opens up new possibilities for developers, allowing them to use more accurate depth imaging in their own systems and products. The scalable range of the ASUS Xtion 2 will also be useful in robotics, surveillance, automotive or 3D scanning.

Compact size and energy efficiency

The ASUS Xtion 2’s compact size 110x35x35mm and low power consumption gives users more options when integrating into existing systems or environments, whether using the ASUS Xtion 2 in an enterprise solution or software development.

Support for OpenNI standard and compatibility with various operating systems

The new ASUS Xtion 2 is OpenNI compliant, supporting Windows 8 and 10 and Linux operating systems for advanced application development. Supports Android™ and OPEN NI1.5 available by special request.
