Miele DGC 5080 XL – an appliance that combines a steam cooker and an oven. The combination of steam and traditional heating methods allows you to cook more gently, preserving the taste, color, and aroma of the products. Steam helps to compensate for any faults on the part of the hostess – the food does not catch fire, does not lose its juiciness and the pastry becomes more fluffy.

FUNCTIONAL

The model is equipped with a large number of modes, they are divided into three groups. Steam modes are included in the first one. The main one is used for steaming at a preset temperature, the lower threshold being just 40 ºC, which makes it possible to cook yoghurt and ferment dough. Second automatic keep warm mode – automatic, it switches on by itself after steaming is finished if the dish is not taken out of the cooking cabinet.

The second group consists of the combined cooking modes. Including grilling, traditional baking with steam, convection with steam. Here the process operates at normal temperatures the upper limit is slightly reduced , the steam changes the approach to the product and makes the dish much more tasty and healthy.

The third group suggests using the appliance as an oven: the Combi-steamer has a large number of heating modes.

Besides, there is a great choice of automatic programs which combine various modes. Priority of work of heaters and steam generator, temperature, duration of stages the device defines without participation of the person.
