Acer unveiled the new C250i portable LED wireless projector with multiple angle projection capabilities without any stand, and the world’s first automatic switch to portrait mode. Designed to give users a convenient way to display their smartphone picture anytime, anywhere.

Project images from any angle, anywhere, anytime
Unlike other projectors whose capabilities are limited to horizontal projection, the C250i supports multi-angle projection without the need for any stands due to its unique design. It not only looks and feels stylish but also saves space and offers a wide range of uses: Users can rotate the projector until they find the best angle to project images on a wall or ceiling. It’s vertically projected horizontally on the wall and has an image flip mode that allows you to directly use the portrait mode for video chatting or streaming like Facebook or Instagram without black bars when wirelessly connected to the projector. The Acer C250i’s feature set, implemented for maximum flexibility and convenience, is sure to impress even the most advanced smartphone users. Keystone correction ensures that content on the screen looks flawless at any angle.
Full HD high quality resolution and wireless operation
Despite its compact size, the C250i still delivers 1080p high quality images and can operate autonomously for up to 5 hours on a single charge. Android and iOS users can connect to the Acer C250i wirelessly and use it at home or on the go, forgetting about wires. The C250i LED module has a lifespan of up to 30,000 hours, 100% NTSC color space, 300 ANSI lumens, and 5000:1 contrast. The Acer C250i can also serve as a portable battery for charging phones on the go. Built-in 5W Bluetooth speakers deliver best-in-class sound when watching movies or TV.
Multiple connectivity options
In addition to wirelessly connecting image sources, the Acer C250i also supports audio and video through a standard HDMI port from a notebook or desktop computer. USB Type-C and Type-A ports also support getting video from both smartphones and PCs without installing additional software or drivers. The USB Type-A port allows direct media playback from a USB memory stick for incredible image quality without the need for a PC.

PL1 Series: 4000 lumens laser projectors for 24/7 operation
In addition to the C250i, Acer has also announced new laser projectors PL1 series PL1520i/PL1320W/PL1220 , designed for exhibitions, events, and mid size conference rooms. They are designed for 24/7 operation with minimal maintenance and are equipped with a laser module that lasts up to 30,000 hours. The PL1 series is ideal for business use for wireless projection2 advertising, bulletin board signage, lobby videos, and more. Additional reliability is guaranteed by having IP6X category protection, including a sealed optical module. The devices allow for 360 degree projection as well as portrait projection3 with quadrangle keystone correction.
CastMaster Touch: Wireless presentation system with touch control
Acer CastMaster Touch is a user-friendly wireless presentation system of convenient receivers and transmitters to replace wired devices. This system is ready to use without any software installation and is capable of switching between speakers in 0.1 second. It can be operated by gestures on the touch panel and has a low latency value of less than 100 ms. CastMaster Touch works seamlessly with PL1 Series units in a meeting room environment.
Pricing and Availability
Acer C250i portable projector to be available in Europe in January 2020 for 539 Euros. The Acer PL1520i laser projector will be available in Europe in November 2019, priced at €1,499. Cost and availability in America will be announced.
