Smart Multifaceted: Acer introduced Full HD portable projector C250i for smartphones

Acer has launched C250i portable wireless projector in America. The novelty is capable of projecting Full HD images, has compact size, stylish housing design of a unique polygonal shape, built-in speaker and high capacity battery, as well as easy setup and connection to a smartphone. The C250i will be available on the American market in August 2020.

Stylish and compact

Acer C250i was created specially for users who are always ready to share interesting content from the screen of their smartphone with friends and relatives. Compact size and light weight means it takes no more space than a typical Bluetooth speaker in a backpack or bag, so it’s easy to take on trips, sleepovers and parties. The unique, multi-faceted and ‘wavy’ case design doesn’t just give the C250i a stylish and futuristic look – it’s easy to hold on any of the edges. This allows it to be placed so that the image is projected onto a surface at almost any angle for example, the wall of a tent or the ceiling of a room .

Besides, the C250i is the first projector in the world that is capable of projecting not only in a traditional horizontal 16:9 mode, but also in vertical mode, when the image is automatically enlarged and occupies the whole screen area 9:16 when the projector body is turned. C250i “understands” this command and doesn’t require additional settings or switching modes in menu. Very convenient for streaming photos or videos from your smartphone screen.

Maximum image and sound quality

Novelty is equipped with a LED lamp that provides excellent image quality and natural color reproduction with 130% gamma coverage Rec.709. The C250i supports Full HD 1080p 1920 x 1080 pixels projection resolution with 300 lumens maximum brightness and 5000:1 contrast ratio. The projector turns on and off almost instantly to save time for the user.

Also for users’ convenience the projector is equipped with a built-in Bluetooth-module and can be recognized and used by other gadgets as a portable wireless speaker with a 5W speaker. Proprietary Acer TrueHarmony technology is responsible for the sound quality.

Easy setup and durability

To prevent premature end of the party, C250i is equipped with powerful 9000 mAh battery that provides not only long battery life, but also can be used as external battery for projected gadgets. Service life of the projector LED lamp is an impressive 30 000 hours in ECO mode !

The C250i is easy to set up, even for first-time users. Automatically projects images from Android and iOS smartphones and tablets, plays media directly from a USB flash drive without a PC connection, and can charge a connected gadget while images are being transferred via the USB port. HDMI and MicroSD connectors for memory cards and external devices are included, as well as vertical and horizontal image correction to achieve the best image quality when projecting on any surface.

New addition to Acer’s family of portable projectors, which now includes more than 30 models with SVGA to 4K UHD resolution in brightness range of 200 to 6000 lumens. Nearest analogues of the C250i in this family are mini mobile projector C202i and more powerful model B250i with brightness of 1200 lm, designed for home theaters it is expected on the shelves at the end of summer .

Price and affordability

The Acer C250i portable projector will go on sale in America in August of this year. Recommended retail price of a novelty – 44 990 Dollars.
