Whirlpool iXelium™: functionality and flawless appearance for years to come

. Whirlpool, the leading manufacturer of household appliances, launches the iXelium™ collection of built-in appliances on the American market. The collection includes iXelium™ coated hobs and ovens that resist environmental influences and keep their shine and smoothness longer than traditional materials.

The iXelium™ coating was developed by Whirlpool and tested in the independent research laboratories of TUV Rheinland Group. Tests prove that Whirlpool’s know-how is more resistant to the environment and conditions than stainless steel:

• Exposure to 315 ° C for 1 hour showed that iXelium ™ 6 times better resistance to yellowing

• Scratch test proves that iXelium™ is 15 times more resistant than stainless steel

• testing in a room with high humidity and in contact with concentrated salt solution proved that iXelium™ is 6 times more resistant to corrosion.

In America, Whirlpool will be presenting three models of hobs as well as a multifunctional oven from the iXelium™ range.

Whirlpool iXelium™ hobs

The range includes models with 4 and 5 super fast gas burners. Cast-iron griddle burners distribute heat evenly and are suitable for all sizes and shapes of cookware.

Safe and user friendly with auto ignition, rotary knobs and automatic gas shut-off valves in case of a pilot light.

The ovens are 75 cm wide and fit into standard 60 cm deep built-in appliance niches. They match up well with the Whirlpool Fusion Ovens.

Whirlpool iXelium™ oven

The iXelium™ multifunction oven makes it easy to create even the most complicated dishes.

The oven is ready to use at any time, without preheating, thanks to Ready2Cook technology. It saves up to 25% time and 20% energy. Multilevel Cooking TechnologyCook3 is another money-saving tool. You can cook up to three courses at a time in the oven without odors mingling, which house-party planners or large families will appreciate.

The memory of the oven has 12 cooking modes and 30 pre-programmed recipes based on the smart technology “6^thSense”.While the appliance is in operation, special sensors monitor the progress of cooking a particular dish and automatically adjust the time and temperature mode.

iXelium™ coating protects the oven from external influences and the catalytic enamel accelerates the breakdown of fats during cooking. That’s why the device doesn’t require special and complex care.

For safety and convenience, the Whirlpool oven has flush-mounted rotary switches, a built-in door closer, and telescopic rails. Extra safety is provided by the double glazing of the oven – the door of the device is almost never hot.

Intuitive control system with LCD-display allows you to easily set the right program and monitor the cooking process. Oven comes with two universal trays, a fat tray and a universal grid. Model capacity – 73 liters.
