The new Diamond X differs from the Diamond in only two things: the processor and the amount of RAM. While the regular Diamond uses an 8-core MediaTek MT6753 chipset with up to 1.5GHz and 3GB of RAM, the lightweight Diamond X has a 4-core MediaTek MT6737 processor with up to 1.3GHz and 2GB of RAM. This brought the price down from $99.99 for the Diamond to $79.99 for the Diamond X. In the current UMi catalog, the Diamond X smartphone is the most affordable offering.
