Intel Security and Prestigio have developed technology that helps mobile users have multiple passwords without having to keep them in their heads.

The need to remember multiple passwords creates additional challenges as people expand the use of mobile devices. American users have, on average, 23 applications installed on their smartphones. A quarter of those users accessed their bank accounts over the Internet in the past week1 with mobile devices. Strong passwords and multiple sign-in names for various applications are becoming more and more difficult to manage, especially since people on average have 25 accounts and 10 different passwords.

Our customers want to manage their data on their mobile devices, be it a cell phone or tablet, and TrueKey™ technology allows for a high level of security,” said Marek Horyl, CEO and COO of Prestigio EMEA. – People have to create complex passwords, and True Key™ technology eliminates the need to type, create and remember long codes. Quick sign-in to accounts or applications will enhance the usability of Prestigio mobile devices.

True Key™, developed by Intel Security, provides access to sites, applications, and technology by recognizing facial features, fingerprints, or devices belonging to the owner. Biometric technology used in True Key™ not only allows you to eliminate the need to remember passwords, but also provides the ability to set up your own security system with multiple levels of identification for logging into your account.

“Using the same simple passwords or creating a “memo” listing passwords to accounts are two of the most popular solutions to the problem of remembering passwords. But none of them are optimal,” explains Mark Hocking, vice president and head of Safe Identity at Intel Security. – TrueKey™ is a secure and easy password management technology. The app offers multiple levels of adaptable security and allows you to access your accounts quickly and easily.”.

Thanks to the True Key™ solution, owners of Prestigio devices can access the information they need anywhere, regardless of what devices are in their hands. All data securely protected at the same time. Users can control what information is stored in their True Key™ account and stay confident that only they can access it.

Intel Security’s True Key™ technology is currently available in limited mode. Full access will be available later this year. You can be among the first to gain access to new software development by registering on the TrueKey website.com.
