Thrustmaster introduces the Thrustmaster Weapon Control System, a flight control lever based on S.M.A.R.T Sliding Motion Advanced Rail Tracks . TWCS is the ultimate tool for optimizing maneuvering and aerial combat in flight simulators.
The TWCS control lever is based on the exclusive S.M.A.R.T with Thrustmaster’s unique rail system. New with up to 80mm of travel, perfect smoothness and precise control of your speed. Resistance Mechanism S.M.A.R.T can be adjusted according to all user preferences. Ergonomics play an important role in controller design: A lowered base allows for a natural wrist position for perfect motion control.
In addition to an innovative undercarriage system, the TWCS has five axes on the control arm, one dual-axis mini-joystick, and a directional rudder with a 15° angle, mechanical return to neutral, and a rotary button. Three additional axes can be obtained by connecting an external directional pedal rudder TFRP purchased separately through the RJ12 connector. 65635 values are provided for the 16-bit axis of the control lever and 1024 values each for the other axes.
The TWCS has 14 function buttons: two 4-position keys + 3 buttons + one 2-position switch + 1 mini-joystick with push function. In addition, the lever is equipped with an 8-position viewpoint switch. The mini-joystick can be used for altitude climbing and space flight shaving control as well as for roll control. You can also use it to navigate menus and confirm option selections. The jog wheel is useful for adjustments and radio antenna control.
Two M6 threaded holes and four rubber pads allow for maximum stability of the lever on the table or cockpit.
TWCS control lever compatible with T software.A.R.G.E.T. Thrustmaster Advanced pRogramming Graphical EdiTor . Users can combine it with other peripherals from Thrustmaster’s ecosystem of flight simulation products they are recognized as a single USB device . The software also supports uploading and creating of individual game profiles.
TWCS control lever goes on sale in September 2016. at a recommended retail price of €79.99.
