The German concern Viessmann announced a price reduction for condensing gas boilers Vitocrossal 100 CIB from November 2019. These heat generators, designed to organize the heating of residential buildings, are becoming more and more in demand.
In addition to installation in a conventional boiler room, they can also be installed in a rooftop boiler room, as they meet all the requirements of Rulebook 373.1325800-2018 SP 373 “Autonomous Heat Supply Sources. Design Rules.”.
According to paragraph 6.8 SP 373, in autonomous heat sources located on the roof, it is forbidden to use non-dismountable heat generators weighing more than 1.5-2 kg per kilowatt of power, taking into account the weight of the water. In addition, it is no longer possible to transport the boilers to the roof using heavy-duty hoists – they must fit into a construction elevator.

According to the expert, in addition to full compliance with the requirements of the code, experts in the field of heating systems of residential buildings specifically noted that the Vitocrossal 100 CIB condensing boilers are supplied as a single packaged unit – all the necessary components are assembled in the factory. This greatly facilitates on-site planning and installation, and optimizes installation time and costs.
For easy installation in inaccessible areas, it is possible to remove the cladding or order it as a disassembled module with a width of only 650 mm.
Regardless of the delivery, all Vitocrossal 100 CIB units are provided with castors.

The MatriX cylindrical burner with Lambda Pro Control combustion controller ensures a high combustion efficiency and optimises the combustion settings for reduced gas consumption. The Vitotronic controller monitors and controls the heating system and all necessary parameters.
Most of the time the Vitocrossal 100 CIB-based boiler plant operates in automatic mode and does not require the constant presence of staff.
