The Nikon Coolpix AW100 compact camera with khaki color can also shoot well

Nikon has finally released a security camera. The first member of the new line of All Weather AW cameras in the COOLPIX family. This series is designed for active people who do sports, extreme tourism, water travel: ordinary compacts do not live long with them. Protection performance is adequate to withstand harsh conditions. The camera is geared towards travelers, so it has a GPS system. Electronic compass and world map allow you to add geotagging to your images, navigate your way around, and track your route as you go. Of course, the camera can not be used as a full-fledged navigator, but this is not required of it.

Unlike many protected cameras of yesteryear, the Coolpix AW100 can also take good pictures. The 28-140 five-fold zoom together with the 16 megapixel sensor makes for quite decent picture quality.

The functionality of the apparatus provides the ability to shoot in a variety of conditions, including underwater shooting mode. Video mode works in Full HD 1920×1080 with stereo sound.

The camera allows slow motion or accelerated video recording at 15 to 240 fps. Other features: shooting circular panoramas, continuous shooting up to 7.1 frames per second, BSS function automatic selection of the sharpest image out of 10 consecutive photos . The camera comes in three colors of front panel: bright orange, austere black, and camouflage.

Does the color of the camera affect its performance or picture quality in any way, or is it just a matter of personal preference?

The color of a camera does not affect its performance or picture quality in any way. The choice of color is purely a matter of personal preference and does not impact the technical aspects of the camera. Factors such as the sensor size, lens quality, and image processing capabilities play a much larger role in determining the picture quality of a camera. Ultimately, it is best to focus on the technical specifications and features of a camera rather than the color when making a purchasing decision.
