The purpose of this new full-frame 100mm STF lens is to create a truly unique and stunning bokeh effect, while maintaining the exceptional level of resolution shown in all models of Sony’s flagship G Master lens series, making it a powerful tool for any photographer specializing in portraits, fashion, nature or wedding photography.
These impressive defocusing capabilities are made possible by an advanced optical design that includes a newly designed 11-blade iris and a unique apodizing optical element. Similar to a neutral filter that increases density toward the edges of the frame, the apodization element creates beautiful transitions from focused to unfocused areas of the image, providing an exceptionally soft and smooth bokeh effect that adds depth and dimension to the image.
This allows the subject matter to stand out from the beautifully out-of-focus elements in both foreground and background, making for a natural and pleasing image to the eye. The lens is also designed to reduce vignetting to an absolute minimum, ensuring optimal image quality.

Telephoto lens FE 85mm F1.8 fixed focal length The new SEL85F18 telephoto fixed focal length lens, compact and lightweight, is a truly versatile solution for Sony camera owners of all different skill levels, from working professionals to aspiring enthusiasts who have first risen to APS-C or full-frame camera level. Taking advantage of the focal length of 85mm and the large maximum aperture of F1.8, this lens lets you shoot expressive portraits with extreme sharpness and soft out-of-focus backgrounds.

New compact radio-controlled flash
The new Sony HVL-F45RM expands the capabilities of the radio-controlled lighting system, offering a compact solution for professional photography with the FA-WRC1M wireless remote control and FA-WRR1 receiver.
The new flash is designed to accommodate the size of Sony’s compact E-type line of cameras, including the full-frame α7 models, offers high maximum power, a guide number of GN45v. It guarantees sufficient illumination even when shooting in bounce or high-speed flash sync photography.
The HVL-F45RM’s radio triggering capability allows it to be used as a transmitter or receiver up to 30 meters about 98 feet away, making it ideal for creative lighting with multiple flashes. Also, unlike optical flash control systems, the radio-controlled system does not require components to be in line of sight and minimizes the effect of bright sunlight on the system’s signal transmission and control.
The HVL-F45RM has an impressive battery life of up to 210 fps on a single charge and can be rotated a full 150o vertically up, 360o horizontally and 8o down for easy shooting. For maximum user-friendliness, a new large, bright and clear LCD information screen, “LED lamp” function dust and moisture protection3 and an upgraded menu system, similar to the menu systems of the latest Sony cameras.
