Myth 1: You need a rag and putty to take care of your parquet

Oh yes, and felt slippers. German engineers at Thomas offer several ways to take care of delicate wood floors. The first of these is dry cleaning with a natural hair and felt nozzle. Its surface is so gentle and effective, it cleans your parquet floor so gently that you forget any other method. The natural bristles penetrate into every crevice between the floorboards, and the felted base polishes and brightens your parquet.

Myth 2: You can’t wash your parquet

This widespread belief very often leads to the fact that instead of a parquet or wooden floor, which one dreams of, people choose unpleasant linoleum or cold tiles: they can be cleaned. But the question is not whether or not to clean. It is important to wash properly and gently, without stirring up dirt which can scratch floors, and without leaving traces of moisture that can damage lacquer and wood.

To solve these two problems AquaStealth has been created with a microfiber pad for wet cleaning of parquet and laminate, and there are two such pads in the set. With this nozzle you can clean your parquet ONLY with clean water. Press the spray lever to wet the pad, releasing the lever causes the water to stop flowing into the nozzle. You move the nozzle away from you, it simultaneously cleans up the debris and dampens the parquet. Move in, your parquet is washed and dried. And just like that, square by square, you get a clean and immediately dry floor.

Myth 3: Vacuum cleaners for parquet cleaning are not universal and have additional attachments only for parquet

Well, that’s a true statement, but not about the Thomas Parkett Prestige XT.

This model is one of the most complete and versatile models of the German manufacturer. The switchable Clean Light nozzle “floor/scrubber” is universal and serves for daily cleaning, but its special feature in this model is bright LED backlight: it works on “finger” batteries and turns on automatically. It is very handy because the lion’s share of the cleaning is done under the furniture and in the corners. Interestingly, it also has a special attachment for pet hair, the Wide Turbo Brush for carpets.

Our upholstery nozzle with thread lifter is also available. For wet cleaning, it has two spray nozzles: a large carpet nozzle with an adapter for hard surfaces and a small nozzle for wet cleaning of upholstered furniture, as well as THOMAS ProTex concentrate for general carpet and floor cleaning. Extended 360mm slot nozzle gets into all nooks and crannies. The most often used attachments, the crevice attachment and the soft furniture attachment, are fitted in the specific slots on the body of the vacuum cleaner.

It comes with another very handy item – a 6-liter filter bag to collect dust. It can be installed instead of Aquabox for a quick dry cleaning – for example, when something spills or you need to collect “sand” from the shoes in the hallway, and you do not need to pour water into the Aquabox because of that.

Myth 4: Aquafilter vacuum cleaners are hard to care for

Easy if it’s the new Aquabox – an advanced, closed-type aquafilter. The Aquabox is extremely convenient and practical to use. It is a sealed plastic container, which you fill with 1 liter of tap water before you clean. No skimmers and other chemicals. The process of cleaning it after cleaning is also very simple. The whole procedure takes minutes: you just pour 1 liter of clean water into it, shake it several times and pour out the dirty water.

The Aquabox first passes through the water wall of four counter-jet nozzles and then through a series of cleaning stages. The water wall wets every dust particle and hair, making them heavy and sticking together with other debris particles. This suspension then enters a mist of water droplets, where the dust particles are swirling in the airborne micro-cyclones.

Dust particles are embedded into the soaking-wet walls of the AquaBox and then drip down into the water. The Aquabox provides highest filtration efficiency 99.99% dust and 100% pollen and cleaner exhaust air. Significantly, the THOMAS Aquabox does not operate on the bong principle, such as other manufacturers’ so-called aquafilters, which simply filter the air through water to trap only large particles of dust.

The AquaBox ensures the highest quality of dry vacuuming and allows you to get humidified air out of the vacuum cleaner instead of the usual dry air, which is important for homes with wooden floors, because it prevents them from drying out.

Thanks to its water filtration system, the Thomas Parkett Prestige XT’s AquaBox works on the principle of volumetric 3D dust suppression. This means that while you are vacuuming the surfaces floors, furniture, carpets the clean, humidified air that comes out of the vacuum fills with moisture the dust particles that fly around the room. They get heavy and drop down to meet the vacuum cleaner head. Just like that, in just two steps, dust is now a thing of the past – not on the floor, not on the furniture, not in the air.
