This new generation of Thomas XT is equipped with an advanced Aqua-Box cleaner. The dimensions of the Aqua-Box have been reduced and the vacuum cleaner has become more compact. Aqua-Box is easy to clean after cleaning: just pour clean water into it, shake it several times and empty it. In the Aqua-Box, the air stream first passes through the water wall formed by the four counter-jet nozzles and then through a series of cleaning stages. In the water wall, each speck of dust and fur gets wet, becomes heavy and clumps with other debris particles. Then air with this suspension gets into a “fog” of water droplets where dust particles rotate in the air micro-cycles. Dust particles don’t have time to be carried away by the airflow and land on the Aqua-Box’s soaking walls, then drop into the water afterwards.
