Functionality

Very interesting pancake maker. Cooking principle is not the same as for stationary devices. The ready batter should be poured into the bowl provided, and when the indicator light on the pancake pan goes out, take it in your hands and flip it over in the batter, count – one, two, three – and, having flipped the pancake pan back, put it on the table. A thin layer of dough will remain on the hot plate. After about a minute the pancake should be flipped it separates easily from the surface, even lifts slightly at the edges . If you are going to stuff a pancake and fry it later, you can simply flip the pancake maker – and the pancake will fall onto a plate. Or use a spatula to turn over the pancake and it bakes on the other side.

The peculiarity of this way of cooking: you get the thinnest pancakes, just lacy. The main thing is not to overdo the pancake maker, otherwise a lot of dough will start to warm, the pancake becomes heavy and when you flip it, you get a garbage.

Everything really has to be done one or two or three times – and then a perfect result is guaranteed. Pancakes don’t always come out big, they can be small – in the middle of the surface. It all depends on how you submerge the pancake batter.

Time to prepare the device to work – 3 minutes, time to cook 1 pancake – 1.5-2 minutes when frying on both sides .

I can’t say that this pancake maker is the champion in terms of cooking speed, but it is definitely the champion in terms of fineness.

We greased the surface with oil only once, before cooking the first pancake. All pancakes fell off the surface very easily, even a spatula was needed just to avoid getting burned by hot pancakes when turning them over.

Remarks

The dough should not be too liquid, it is better to use the recipes given in the instructions, at least at first, until you get used to the appliance.

The small amount of dough at the bottom of the bowl makes it difficult to work and the pancakes have a reduced diameter.

In principle, it’s not quite clear why the kit includes a whisk, but hostesses usually have their own for whipping dough.
