Tamron is releasing the promised update for the 28-75mm F/2.8 Di III RXD Model A036 , which fixes autofocus performance when used with full-frame Sony cameras. The new update is available for download and can be installed directly through the camera.

This software update fixes a known autofocus problem in full-frame mirror-less Sony E-mount cameras that occurs when shooting movies at long focus distances. Also eliminated flickering around the edges of the screen when zooming.
How to install the upgrade.
Firmware can be upgraded with Sony cameras that have a software upgrade function.
1. Download the firmware update program:

2. Start the program
3. Changing the USB connection mode to “mass storage
4. Connect a camera with lens attached to your computer
5. Wait for successful update message
