Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX5 compact camera: all its poweusaul features work peusaectly well underwater up to a depth of 3 meters

Judging by the index in the name of this novelty from Sony, you can imagine that we have a simplified or cheapened version of the super-advanced TX7. However, this is not at all true: almost as good as its big sister technically, the TX5 was even better in some respects technically and belonged to a different class of cameras. This is the slimmest and, to our taste, the most beautiful camera, equipped with protection against dust, moisture and shock.

Comparisons arenā€™t really relevant, because with most point-and-shoot cameras, style is totally sacrificed for technical reasons, and the categories ā€œprettierā€ and ā€œworseā€ donā€™t really apply. The Sony TX5 is a different matter: its developers were able to refuse any compromises in design and functional equipment.

The result is an advanced protected camera in a stylish and attractive body with a thickness of only 18 mm. Attractive color schemes in pink, red and soft green in addition to the classic silver and black colors add to the cameraā€™s visual charm.

Inside, thereā€™s the progressive backlit Exmor R sensor, the proprietary BIONZ processor, Carl Zeiss wide-angle optics with a focal range of 25 to 100 mm, and a 3-inch display designed for fingertip control via touch and gesture.

Like other models based on the proprietary Sony sensor, TX5 is able to shoot at speeds up to 10 frames per second, create wide panoramas without any additional user effort and cope with difficult shooting conditions, both due to the high sensitivity and thanks to the proprietary function of combining into one high-quality picture of six frames taken in a rapid series. The only thing the TX5 loses slightly to its colleagues is video recording, which is limited to 1280Ɨ720 pixels at 30 frames per second.

Although you wouldnā€™t know it from the outside looking in, the TX5ā€™s powerful performance is waterproof to a depth of three meters, dustproof to -10Ā°C and still performs just fine if dropped to the ground from a height of six feet.

Simply put, Sony TX5 is an absolutely universal camera, which is not a shame to take out of your pocket and at a party of any degree of glamour or turbulence ā€“ splashing champagne, for example, this camera is not afraid of , and during biking or passing rapids on the river. For the latter cases unless you prefer a more traditional color options, for the pink camouflage in harsh camping conditions can not understand.

Iā€™m intrigued by the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX5 compact camera and its excellent performance underwater. Can anyone confirm if it maintains its functionality beyond the mentioned 3-meter depth? Iā€™m curious to know if this camera is suitable for more adventurous deep-sea explorations or if there are any limitations. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
