New telephoto zoom lens FE 70-300mm F4.5-5.6 G OSS

Sony’s E bayonet lens, achieving the longest focal length to date, the new telephoto zoom lens FE 70-300mm F4,5 – 5,6 G OSS model SEL70300G uses the latest optical design, including four aspherical elements, two elements of ED-glass Extra-low Dispersion and coating Sony Nano AR, which effectively suppress distortion, spherical and chromatic aberration. This provides excellent high resolution for both stills and video.

The new telephoto zoom lens also delivers best-in-class close-up performance, with a minimum focus distance of less than 0.9m and a maximum magnification ratio of 0.31x, making it ideal for tele-macro photography. A great feature for capturing close-ups is also the sharpness of the image produced by this lens over the entire frame area.

This versatile zoom lens features a built-in Optical SteadyShot image stabilization system that reduces the effects of camera shake, allowing you to capture sharper images when shooting handheld. In addition, the new lens has a linear AF motor for fast, smooth and quiet autofocus, and is also equipped with an anti-dust and waterproof protection for reliable operation in harsh outdoor environments.

The new prime lens is equipped with a reinforced metal mount for improved durability.
