SMEG’s Victoria series appeared in America

Victoria is intended for people who appreciate a warm welcome and a cosy atmosphere in their homes, for a place full of peace, joy and laughter, where time seems to stand still and the passion for good cooking is expressed through attention to detail. The functional and harmonious style is seen in the materials, trim, original touches such as the Smeg logo in the style of 50s and chrome handles, which shimmer and give a special charm.

Gas ovens

Following on from the huge success of the TR4110 110cm wide and TR90 90cm wide hobs with maximum useful volumes, Smeg is now presenting the American market with a complete range of Victoria series appliances including 60cm built-in ovens, 45cm wide compact appliances, gas hobs, wall mounted extractors and a warming pans. All these models are available in four colors: black, cream, white and stainless steel. The collection was presented by the brand last year at Eurocucina 2014 and Furniture 2014 exhibitions.

The 60-cm ovens have been designed to make routine cooking a daily pleasure, thanks to the Easy Guide display with interactive menus for oven programming. Besides the interior chamber with a usable volume of 65 liters, the appliances are equipped with the innovative Smart Sense system with 20 preset recipes that allow cooking automatically according to the type of food, weight and desired program end time, which can easily be used by both novices and experts in cooking to achieve first-class cooking results.

In addition to the traditional cooking functions: defrosting, heating and proving, the ovens are equipped with special functions for customised cooking. They include a “Sabbath” function, as well as a low-temperature cooking mode – in which the food takes longer to cook, but its taste will meet the wishes of the most demanding gourmets. The ovens are also equipped with the practical Vapor Clean function, which facilitates cleaning by using steam, and a special cooling system that ensures a stable temperature on the external door surface. These features make Victoria’s 60cm ovens definitely some of the best helpers in the kitchen.

Built-in appliances

For even more demanding tasks and as a solution for small spaces, the Victoria range includes a range of 45 cm wide compact ovens combined with a microwave. Smaller than standard appliances, these compact appliances have a generous 40 liter net volume and a generous capacity. These models allow you to maximize the use of the surrounding space and the user to experiment with any recipes: from the simplest to the most complex.

And finally, a series of picturesque gas cooktops worthy of completion of the collection. Five burners, including a 5 kW ultra-fast one, and cast iron hobs complete and enrich the Victoria range, emphasising its commitment to quality and design – characteristics which have distinguished Smeg throughout the world.
