AeroCool introduces quiet and efficient XPredator G power supplies

The 80 Plus Gold certification means the power supply efficiency of 88-92% under average and high load, which results in less power wasted, lower electric bills and less heat. To get certified Aerocool used its state-of-the-art technologies. So, XPredator G models are equipped with additional DC-to-DC chip, which filters the noise and stabilizes 12 V bus voltage. Under load, units deliver their rated watts for the entire runtime.

To connect components, the XPredator G has 600-mm motherboard and CPU power cables with 20+4 and 4+4 pins, respectively. There are six to eight SATA cables and three or four PATA cables for hard drives, optical drives and other peripherals. The manufacturer also kept the floppy drive power connector in case of corporate use. Two or four connectors with 6+2 pins are available to connect video cards depending on the selected model. The 700 watt flagship model gives you enough power to power two flagship graphics cards in NVIDIA SLI or AMD CrossFire modes at once.

The XPredator G cooling system deserves special mention. Units feature a large 120mm fan with a new intelligent controller that runs at less than 1000rpm down to 70% load. In practice, this means that the novelty is not unnecessarily noisy.
