New York, June 20, 2014 – Samsung Electronics has unveiled the new Samsung Food ShowCase side-by-side refrigerator. Its innovative design allows you to easily zone the internal space, dividing it into two compartments: ShowCase for easy and quick access to everyday food and InnerCase for long-term food storage.
“Today, more and more consumers want the most convenient and roomy refrigerator possible without having to search for the food they want,” said BK Yoon, president and head of Consumer Electronics at Samsung, “The Samsung Food ShowCase with its innovative design was created with consumer research in mind and is great for all family members.”.
ShowCase for every day groceries
ShowCase, located right behind the refrigerator door, allows you to quickly find any product without wasting time and effort. Inside the compartment there are six containers: Cheese Case for storing cheese at optimum temperature and humidity, Sauce Case for sauces, Drink Case for drinks, Snack Case for snacks, Kids Case for baby food and Multi Case for other products.
Kids Case located at the bottom of the fridge compartment allows toddlers to easily reach the products especially for them. In addition, removable containers for snacks and baby food can be taken out of the refrigerator and placed on the table. Metal ShowCase door with cooling function helps protect food from the warm air that gets in when you open the refrigerator.
InnerCase for long-term storage of food
The InnerCase is designed to store vegetables, fruits, meat and other foods. It is differentiated from standard fridges with a common cooling system for the freezer and refrigerator compartment by the innovative Samsung Twin Cooling Plus System. It uses two independent evaporators and fans powered by one compressor to provide optimal temperature and humidity separately for the two chambers. It keeps food fresh and frozen for much longer, with minimal frosting.
Samsung Space Max Technology
Samsung Space Max with the special technology of thermal insulation allowed to reduce the thickness of the walls of the refrigerator. The result is a new Samsung Food ShowCase with more capacity in the same size.

The new refrigerator features elegant metal doors that are designed in a “timeless design” style. It makes the premium appliances the epitome of modern design.
“Smart inverter compressor
The latest inverter compressor boosts refrigerator energy efficiency and performance by automatically varying operating power based on ambient conditions. The Smeg Space Max appliance reacts instantly to changes in temperature, like the proprietor opening a door or putting a hot plate in. In addition, at night, the Samsung compressor operates with minimal noise.
