HOB
The model has a combined hob. Two kinds of elements are used here – induction and HiLight high-speed elements. Induction hobs are placed on the right side. These elements have a high efficiency about 90% and provide rapid heating. The burners have a Booster function that allows you to rapidly increase the power of the front element to heat food even faster, such as broth to boiling point. The function is activated for 8 minutes. Cooking on the induction zones requires cookware with a magnetic base. The induction elements on the hob are best turned on when you need speed, such as boiling a kettle. HiLight burners are installed on the left side. They can’t compete with induction in terms of speed. Better suited for frying, stewing, cooking at low temperatures. The combination of the two types of elements allows for more flexibility. HiLight burners are easy to use pots and pans which are not suitable for induction can be used on them.
OVEN
Static oven. Equipped with three heating elements – bottom and top. They can be used separately or together in the so-called traditional mode. This mode is universal for simmering, roasting and baking. Owing to the power difference of the heating elements in the oven the lower one is more powerful the effect of natural convection – mixing of hot streams. This results in more even cooking and browning of the food on all sides. Another element of the oven is the grill. It has a power of 2 kW. The grill can be used with a rotisserie. A piece of meat or poultry can be threaded on it. Uniform rotation of the rotisserie is guaranteed by a small motor that turns on automatically when you select the mode.
CONTROL
The induction zones are equipped with touch controls to select the power level and Booster function. The other two uses rotary knobs to select one of six heating stages. The areas of the hob have a residual heat indicator. The oven is turned on by selecting the cooking mode and setting the thermostat. This is done using the two knobs on the control panel on the left side. The timer is designed to keep track of time intervals. It works on the principle of an alarm clock that gives an audible signal after a set number of minutes. Timer step – 5 minutes, maximum duration – 1 hour.
