Review of Electrolux Air Gate air conditioner

The Electrolux Air Gate not only keeps you cool in the summer heat, it also cleans the air effectively. The new series has an air filtration system consisting of a dust filter and the latest HAF fine filter 3M, which removes allergens, dust and other smallest particles larger than 0.1 microns.

Air Gate also helps to maintain a comfortable level of humidity. A special dehumidification mode allows to condense excess moisture without changing the air temperature and remove it outside the room as steam. It has a built-in drain pump, in case the humidity is too high and you need to remove the condensate through a hose. The air conditioner has a ventilation mode, so the air doesnā€™t stagnate. There is also a special ā€œautomaticā€ mode of operation, when the air conditioner analyzes a situation and shifts to cooling, ventilating or dehumidifying depending on conditions.

Operation of any mobile air conditioner is accompanied by noise in one way or another. Air Gate is very quiet for its class. The new cabinet design and advanced sound insulation system has reduced noise levels to 45dB, one of the lowest noise levels of any mobile climate conditioner today. At the same time, the energy efficiency of Air Gate mobile air conditioner remained very high: while the power consumption is 0,9 kW, it generates up to 2,9 kW of cold and EER exceeds the threshold value of 2,6, which corresponds to A class.

The model uses specially designed louvers to evenly distribute the air flow and prevent draughts. The remote control, which can be clipped onto the lid of the unit to act as a stationary panel, is another unusual design feature. The remote control is equipped with handy buttons and an LCD display, which shows all the necessary data of the current settings of the unit. Indications on front panel of the unit showing operating modes. If necessary, the lights can be switched off for example, to avoid interference in the dark .
