November 6, 2015: Anaheim, CA BlizzCon® 2015 – Razer™, the world’s leading manufacturer of peripherals and software for gamers, and Blizzard Entertainment, developer and publisher of some of the industry’s most celebrated games, today announced a full series of Chroma-enabled computer peripherals based on Blizzard’s upcoming team-based shooter, Overwatch™.
Blizzard’s upcoming team-based shooter will support Razer Chroma RGB backlight technology
Set in the new Blizzard universe, the game is a 6-on-6 first-person shooter with a rich cast of characters, each with a unique arsenal of weapons and abilities. As part of the release of the official Overwatch gaming collection, Razer is set to enhance the popular DeathAdder Chroma mouse, BlackWidow Chroma keyboard and Goliathus Extended mat with Overwatch gaming elements.
Players using the Razer BlackWidow Overwatch keyboard will also be able to fully enjoy dynamic Chroma backlighting effects that change depending on the gaming environment, match the main character color also supported for the Razer DeathAdder Overwatch gaming mouse and display indicators of the hero’s abilities, recovery time and ultimatch ability readiness – all shown in real time via Razer Synapse.*
