But Philips HP 6402 attracted my attention with its stylish color, original pattern and reasonable price I did not want to overpay for extra attachments – it was the first time I bought such a thing and it was unclear if I would like to use it .

The hardest part is deciding to do the first session. But, as the saying goes, fear the eyes, but do the hands. For those who are not yet familiar with it, there is a special attachment that helps to position the device at the right angle.

It’s better to epilate right after showering or bathing – which is much less painful, as the pores get bigger and it’s easier to remove hairs at that time. You need to keep your skin completely dry.

How does waxing work? Place the epilator perpendicular to the surface of the skin, select the desired speed of treatment and slowly move it against the direction of hair growth. Several pairs of metal discs rotate in time to catch hairs and remove them at the root with their tweezers.

The procedure is painful, of course, but if you know that the epilator captures even 0.5mm long hairs those that are not visible yet and removes them together with the bulb, then the next procedure you need only in two, or even four weeks. In addition, the removed hairs with each time become thinner and softer, that can not but rejoice.

Now, let’s look at the results of these tests… The nervous, please leave, as the author had to put all the experiments on himself, so that he could feel all the charms of the studied devices on his own skin .

The epilator fits comfortably in your hand. The device does not slip during treatment, and due to its small weight the hand does not get tired at all, so you can treat the necessary areas for a long time. The button to switch speeds is under your thumb, making it easy to use.

To change speeds, you have to make a small effort, which is justified in this case, as it avoids accidental switching. The first speed is for short or fine hair. But where hair is longer and tougher, it is better to use the second speed: such hairs are not afraid of a strong jerk, but the time of an unpleasant procedure is greatly reduced.

My treatment was mostly done with the second speed, which is understandable. I can not say that the epilation quality was perfect, because not all hairs are removed after the first pass, but this case is easily solved: nobody forbids the second pass on the right places.

Also, I don’t think there are any epilators in the world that manage to “take the high” the first time. You also have to consider that treating the author’s legs is not the same as treating a woman’s legs. But for the sake of credibility, I willingly put my limbs on the altar of science!

After a few days, I noticed that some of the hairs went up, which means that they broke off, not ripped out. However, you have to understand that the length of the hair to be removed should be 2-5 mm, which in my case was not respected ideally, my leg should have been shaved first and then waxed after a couple of days . Because of this annoying overlay after a week, the procedure had to be repeated.

After the secondary treatment, I finally got the result I wanted. Besides, it was much easier now, since the hairs are much shorter and can be removed in no time.

After the procedure, the epilator head easily removable and rinsed with water. After drying it can be reattached and put away the epilator until future times.

What I liked:

First of all I like the design of the product. And to put it simply, the device is very nice. The price of epilator is not so exorbitant, as in many other instances. Very long power cord 2.5 m , which does not make you hostage to the outlet.

What I did not like:

Of course, I understand that for such money, you can not expect much, and the device is so beautiful that it is not a shame to leave it in a prominent place, but I would also like to have some kind of case to carry and store.

The first removal is the most painful, the subsequent process is much easier – maybe you already know what to expect from epilation, and maybe the structure of hair changes, but the fact remains.

What did the writer meant – it is not quite clear: whether the device is designed only for women, or women except for the processing of legs can not stand, and here men, where they want, there vegetation and let them remove. And although I’m ready to sacrifice a lot for the sake of science, I refuse to remove my hair on other parts of the body. And don’t ask for.
