I received the Philips Avance Steamer HD 9190/30 today. The first thing I looked through the contents of the package: I found a user manual in 16 languages, warranty card and a color recipe book, also in different languages, including RU all recipes are clear, they indicate what to put where and how long to cook . Now Iām studying the miracle machine itself. The weight is light, which I like.

The modern design, well thought out in detail in the grids there are small holes where you can put the eggs , all parts can be easily removed and washed, folded compactly. Thereās a cord holder!!!
All steam bowls are numbered. Round in shape ā you can reheat in a bowl. And finally, the touch screen display. I was pleased by the fact that you can cook not only the second course, but also the first ā the kit includes a bowl for soup.
And the fact that you can also bake in the steam cooker surprised me, this is the first time I heard about it, the only pity that the kit does not include a mold for baking ā mine, unfortunately, did not fit, otherwise I would have been the first thing I would try to bake something for my sweet tooth.
The steam cooker has two cooking modes: Meal Program-allows you to cook several dishes at once, but itās important to select the time for each product. And the second: Chef Program ā the temperature and time are set automatically.
FIRST EXPERIMENT
I decided to experiment and make my own dishes: Succulent chicken with garlic and young potatoes. And so: chicken legs, defrosted in advance in the steam cooker there is no defrosting function , Dollars salt, garlic and seasoning for chicken and put it in a bowl number 2, cover with lid, put it on the bottom of the steamer.
Coarsely chopped potatoes mixed with salt and potato seasoning and placed in bowl #3.I set the time for chicken ā on the display I choose cup number 2 and put 60min., and for a bowl number 3 with potatoes ā 40 min. After 20 minutes. the steamer beeps and bowl #3 flashes on the screen, itās time to put it on top of bowl #2 and put the lid on.
A marvelous aroma is wafting through the kitchen. While Iām waiting for the results, Iām making a quick salad of fresh tomatoes with fresh herbs and tomato sauce for the chicken. My husband runs to get a bottle of red wine. Wouldnāt be late!
SECOND EXPERIMENT
I decided to cook using the Philips recipe book āPea Soup with Chicken American Styleā. Everything was made according to the recipe. After the time, I see the result: the chicken is a little raw maybe the ham was a little too big , so in the second stage of cooking the soup, I increased the time by 5 minutes.
The volume of the tureen is just right for our family.Looks delicious!
