J-FEST festival of contemporary Japanese culture was held in New York on November 23-24 2013. J-FEST is organized by the Embassy of Japan in America and is initiated by American and Japanese companies. The most famous manufacturer of home appliances in the Land of the Rising Sun, of course, does not stand by. Panasonic presented new products with nanoe™ technology at Beauty-Fest. All comers could be styled by the real Japanese masters, and hair care appliances have with honor stood a real two-day test-drive.

Clever Japanese scientists made sure that the heating element returns the evaporated moisture to the hair, but at the same time maintaining a high temperature 5 levels of regulation of the temperature of the plates, ranging from 150 ° C to 200 ° C . Every woman can feel the advantage of this iron – because the result is visible immediately after styling.
But that’s not all: using knowledge about the physical properties of ions, Panasonic specialists placed on the handle of the device a static discharging panel to remove the negative charge accumulated on the hair. Thanks to this find, ions continue to be attracted to the hair, hydrating it from root to tip 2.5 times better than without the static removal feature. The latter was promoted by a device that we studied and tried directly during styling – the Panasonic EH-SA31 vaporizer. It splits water molecules into tiny nanoparticles by means of electric discharge and their size allows them to penetrate through pores and reach the deepest layers instead of condensing on the skin surface.
Simultaneously the stream of micro particles of steam is saturated with disinfecting ozone, the temperature of the steam is very comfortable – 40°C . The organizers tried to present their country from the very different sides: there was the photo exhibition “Tokyo: Streets of Seva-era city”, the performance of Kikukawa-tayu, one of the most beautiful women of Japan the youngest of the present Tayu – she is not even thirteen , and demonstration of the best anime cartoons and short films from Japan, there were also presented collections of Japanese fashion designers and hairdressers.
A variety of master classes were held during the festival: drawing Japanese comics, Japanese dancing, preparing oriental desserts, tea ceremony, ikebana making, kendo swordsmanship .
We were also surprised by the costumes of visitors – fans of Japanese anime, as well as participants in the Lolita Show. The models demonstrated unique outfits that perfectly illustrated a variety of styles, such as Gothic & Lolita, as well as the trend of Japanese street fashion and their own individuality.
